Meet Our PA's & Staff
Dawn C. Roman, PA-C
Dawn Roman was born and raised in Waukegan, Illinois. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Loyola University of Chicago. She was in the premier class of the Cook County Hospital Physician Assistant program, which was the first Physician Assistant school in Illinois. She graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Upon graduation, Dawn worked in open heart surgery at Loyola University Medical Center for a short time. She then spent 18 years at Advocate Christ medical center in Oak Lawn, Illinois. Her duties as a senior Cardiovascular Surgery Physician Assistant included, the management of post-operative patients in the office and first-assisting in the operative room for adult open heart surgeries.
In 2008, she received the designation "Distinguished Fellow" of the American Academy of Physician Assistants for her professional, teaching, and community involvement.
Dawn is a proficient practitioner. She can examine patients, diagnose, interpret lab tests, prescribe medications and perform dermatological procedures.
Dawn lives in the western suburbs with her spouse, three children, and black standard poodle. She enjoys time with her children, bicycling, cooking, reading, and is a black belt in Karate.
Teryn E. Honeycutt, PA-C
Teryn E. Honeycutt received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Medical Technology from Purdue University. After graduation she worked at Evanston Northwestern Hospital as a Microbiology Medical Technologist.
Teryn received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Practice from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL, where she graduated with highest honors.
Teryn is a Nationally (NCCPA) Board Certified and Illinois State Licensed Physician Assistant. She has worked in dermatology private practice for the past 6 years.
She is a member of the American Academy Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants (IAPA), the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), and the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (ISDPA).
Teryn is an experienced practitioner specially trained in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology allowing her to provide comprehensive skin care to adults and children.
Teryn was born and raised in Orland Park, Illinois. Teryn currently lives in Chicago's South Loop with her husband. As a former member of the Purdue Dance Team, she actively enjoys ballet, dance, and running.
Laurel M. Poole, PA-C
Laurel Poole is a board-certified physician assistant who is committed to helping her patients look and feel their very best. She is experienced in general dermatology for adults and children, as well as skin enhancement and rejuvenation to help achieve and maintain a healthy, youthful image.
She grew up in a small town in Maine and received a bachelor's degree in communication disorders from University of New Hampshire, where she graduated summa cum laude. She received a master's degree in physician assistant studies from Emory University in 2004 and practiced dermatology in the state of Georgia for several years before joining our plastic surgery and dermatology practice near Naperville, IL in May 2012.
Laurel takes great pride in providing solid dermatology expertise with an emphasis on exceptional service and patient care. She enjoys taking the time to educate her patients about their individual skin conditions and needs.
Laurel is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants.
When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, biking, participating in triathlons and good wine.
Lindsey N. Grady, PA-C
Lindsey was born and raised in northwest Indiana, and currently resides in Hobart, IN. She remained local for her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Indiana University Northwest in Gary, IN. Lindsey then attended PA school at University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, IN. She is a nationally board certified and state licensed PA.
Lindsey realized her passion immediately and has worked in dermatology since graduation from PA school. She is highly interested in the science behind dermatologic conditions, and enjoys attending conferences and reading journals to keep updated on the latest treatment options.
Lindsey enjoys treating patients of all ages, from children to teens to adults and geriatric populations. She especially enjoys treating acne, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and skin cancers.
In her free time, Lindsey enjoys traveling, boating, cooking, art, and her dogs, a chihuahua named Cabo and a redbone coonhound named Fern.
Ishani P. Patel, PA-C
Ishani Patel is a board certified physician assistant (PA-C). She is grateful for the opportunity she has every day to offer comprehensive and compassionate dermatologic care to patients of all ages. Ishani was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Illinois and received her bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from University of Illinois, and then headed out to the east coast to Albany Medical College for her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
Following graduation in 2010, Ishani began her career as a physician assistant at a fast-paced emergency room (ER). After about two years of experience in the ER, Ishani got the opportunity to pursue her passion in dermatology. She practiced at a dermatology clinic in New Jersey before relocating back to her home state of Illinois, closer to her family.
Ishani is a diplomate member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), and the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (ISDPA), which allows her to stay up to date on the latest dermatologic treatment advancements. She is also a certified melanoma educator and has volunteered in Kenya, providing dermatologic services through the Passion to Heal organization.
Ishani is an experienced PA with years of practicing medical and cosmetic dermatology. Her medical interests include acne, psoriasis, skin cancer treatment, and surgical procedures, while her cosmetic interests include BOTOX®, RADIESSE®, and Restylane®. She enjoys and takes pride in providing personalized care to both adults and pediatric patients.
Stacy L. Purcell, PA-C
Stacy is a board-certified Physician Assistant who has been practicing dermatology since 2013. She attended Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL and in 2004 she graduated magna cum laude. Following graduation, she worked for nine years with a large orthopedic group in the area where her responsibilities included assisting in the operating room and providing care to patients in the post-operative period. Stacy earned her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University in 1999.
Stacy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She has received continuing education and training in providing cosmetic procedures including Botox, Dysport, and various dermal fillers. She has also had special training in skin cancer surgery, including Mohs procedures. She specializes in general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, and enjoys treating patients of all ages.
Stacy was born and raised in Joliet, and continues to reside in the area. She is married and has two children, and loves outdoor activities - especially spending time at the beach and on the water. .
Fiona E. Hanly, DCNP
Fiona obtained her board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center with a Master of Science in Nursing as Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, where she graduated with Honors. She is also board certified in dermatology as a Nurse Practitioner from the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Xavier University in Chicago, IL.
Fiona's professional Memberships include the Dermatology Nurses' Association, American Nurses Association, Illinois Society Advanced Practitioners, The Honor Society of Nursing, and Sigma Theta Tau International.
Fiona has been practicing dermatology since 2010. She has experience in clinical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, and is very passionate about the field. She enjoys treating patients of all ages. Fiona was born and raised in the south suburbs of Chicago and currently resides in Frankfort with her husband and 4 children. She loves to travel and enjoy music with her family.

Staci Richter, Aesthetician
As a licensed aesthetician, Staci offers an extensive background in clinical treatments such as laser hair removal, laser vein removal, medical grade chemical peels, fractional skin rejuvenation, dermaplaning, and microdermabrasion. As a graduate of The University of Aesthetics, she strives to achieve results for her patients by customizing specific treatment plans addressing all skin concerns from sensitive, acneic, to anti-aging.
Staci is an expert in skincare product knowledge to assist each patient with their needs. Her love for makeup helps to educate her patients in application techniques, especially those with problematic skin. Staci has an incredible passion for skincare and finds gratification in helping her patients reach their skincare goals.
